King Tut Tomb Discovery Thrilling Story








"I can see wonderful things "
The famous and eternal statement said by Howard Carter when he once looked at the great tomb of King Tut at Valley of the Kings.
After king Akhen-Aten death. His son Tut successed the throne of Egypt to be the king of Thebes and whole Egypt when he just was 16 years, and although his short period of reign king Tut gained a great fame not because his history or achievements during his life time but because of his might tomb which lies in valley of the kings and discovered by British archeologist Howard Carter in Nov, 4th 1922
Majority of famous tomb objects were extracted and shown in the famous of Exhibition of king Tut at Egyptian Museum in Cairo, while the tomb still open to visit in Valley of the kings at Luxor.
Carter actually discovered the tomb by accident while he was digging for the Ramses VI tomb, he found a cellar leads to the young king tomb, Carter resumed his excavation and in Feb, 16th1923 Carter was the first human being to enter the closed tomb 3000 years ago.
Inside tomb, Carter found a wooded box just in the center of tomb which is processed by descending ladder, the gilded box contained another gilded box which also contained another gilded box, and finally Carter found stone sarcophagi which were covered by stone lid in the shape of king Tut himself.
the stone sarcophagi contained the young king dead body besides two gold smaller sarcophagus taking the shape of king Tut, the mummy of king Tut was discovered in excellent status and wearing his full accessories, the whole accessories were made of pure gold which really was a great treasury. necklaces, rings and the crowns and alas all were made of pure gold, and all are shown now at the Cairo museum
the most famous object were found there was the mask of king Tut which takes the colors golden and black, while in the year 2010 the mummy of king Tut were shown for the first time for press and people and really was a great event
Now and for long time king Tut will still one of the most famous kings in ancient Egypt and will still always a symbol of ancient Egyptian kings greatness and prestige
